Refreshing Your Scuba Diving Skills in Ao Nang
If you haven’t been diving in a while and find yourself needing to brush up on your underwater skills before going on a fun dive, our Scuba Refresher program is the ideal solution. Designed to be part of your fun diving day, the refresher program will review equipment setup, theory essentials, and practise key skills under the expert guidance of our certified dive professionals. We customise your refresher to your individual needs and preferences, whether you require a recap on underwater communication or a fine-tuning of your fundamental open water course skills – or both!
Even if your dive buddy has more recent diving experience and doesn’t require a refresher, rest assured that you can still dive together on your trip with us from Ao Nang. Under the guidance of one of our experienced professionals, you’ll have the opportunity to refresh your skills while your buddy enjoys a fun dive. We are dedicated to ensuring that you re-enter the underwater world with renewed confidence.
Rediscover Your Confidence through a Personalised Experience
Your diving refresher starts on the boat, where you’ll take charge of setting up your own gear for the day with your instructor, followed by a detailed briefing on basic practices and the skills planned for your initial dive. The first dive focuses on reviewing at least four essential underwater scuba skills: weight check, regulator clearing, regulator recovery and mask clearing. During the day, you are encouraged to express any additional skills you’d like to practise for an extra confidence boost; your instructor is there to guide you. Once you’ve reacquainted yourself with these skills and your confidence is boosted, the dive transitions into a typical fun dive. Back on the boat, your instructor will provide constructive feedback, paving the way for your second dive of the day. Your diving refresher may be done in Ao Nang local islands or Phi Phi. Diving conditions in the Krabi area are mild and our group sizes are small, making it a perfect place to refresh your scuba skills. After your last dive of the day, you will be served fresh lunch made by our partner restaurant in Ao Nang.
Refresher Requirements
A Scuba Refresher is required for all divers with less than 50 dives who haven’t dived in the last 12 months.
Certification
Certified Open Water Diver or higher.
Age
10 years or older.
Health requirements
Medically fit to dive.

Day Schedule
- Pickup from your hotel in the morning
- Transfer to the pier in air-conditioned minivan
- Instructor briefing - theory, equipment and skills
- Dive 1 (in-water skills + fun dive)

- Boat returns to the pier in the early afternoon
