Last week at Fast Manta, we had the privilege of hosting a very special PADI x Amazing Thailand Press Trip under the inspiring theme: “Seek Adventure and Save the Ocean in Thailand.” For five incredible days, six passionate participants joined us in Krabi to experience what diving with purpose truly means.

The journey began with Fast Manta’s very own Dive With Purpose Program, designed to combine adventure with meaningful ocean action. During the first part of the week, participants completed three important PADI specialty courses that focus on protecting the marine environment.

Protecting What You Love and Inspiring Others

The program kicked off with PADI Coralyfe Reef First Aid, where divers learned how to recognize coral damage and apply practical reef restoration techniques. Healthy coral reefs are essential for ocean biodiversity, and being able to support reef recovery is a powerful skill for any diver.

Next, the group continued with the PADI AWARE Shark and Ray Conservation Specialty. Sharks and rays play a crucial role in maintaining balanced marine ecosystems, and this course gave participants the knowledge to better understand these incredible animals and how divers can actively support their protection.

This was an especially exciting moment for us at Fast Manta, as we had the honor of becoming the first dive center in the world to teach this specialty course, ahead of its official global launch next week. It was a proud milestone for our team and a meaningful step toward helping more divers understand and protect these incredible animals.

The conservation focus continued with the PADI AWARE Dive Against Debris Specialty, where divers learned how to safely remove marine debris from the ocean while contributing valuable data to global conservation efforts. Every piece of debris collected helps scientists better understand pollution and work toward healthier seas.

Exploring the Andaman Sea

With the specialties completed, the adventure continued. Our six participants spent the following days exploring the beautiful Andaman Sea, either fun diving or completing their PADI Advanced Open Water courses. From vibrant reefs to fascinating marine life encounters, every dive reminded us why protecting the ocean is so important.

But beyond the courses and dives, what truly made the week special was the atmosphere. The days were filled with laughter, shared discoveries, and meaningful conversations about the future of our oceans. Divers from different backgrounds came together with a shared respect for the marine world and a desire to protect it.

Dive With Purpose

At Fast Manta, we believe that diving is not just about exploring the ocean—it’s about becoming part of the community that protects it. This press trip perfectly reflected that philosophy: adventure, education, and conservation working together.

A huge thank you to PADI, Amazing Thailand, and all the participants who joined us for this unforgettable week. We hope this experience inspires many more divers to seek adventure and save the ocean.
