The PADI Rescue Diver course expands your diving knowledge and elevates your skillset. By becoming a Rescue Diver, you’ll be well-prepared to assist others in the event of an emergency underwater situation. It’s a significant step towards becoming a more responsible and reliable diver, knowing that you can step in to help others when needed.
The rescue training is often described as the most challenging and rewarding course. Our course here in Krabi is a blend of excitement, challenge, and fun. It equips you with the skills to prevent and manage various problems in the water, significantly boosting your confidence as a diver and your ability to provide assistance to others when necessary. While the course is serious in its nature, it’s also designed to be fun, offering lots of moments of laughter among focused learning.
By completing the PADI rescue training with us in Ao Nang, you also take a significant step towards a rewarding career in diving, setting the stage for progression into Divemaster and Instructor courses.
Become a PADI Rescue Diver in Three Days in Krabi
The comprehensive PADI Rescue Course consists of a two-day Rescue Diver course and a one-day Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care (EFR) course. For those already holding a valid EFR certification (acquired within 24 months), the two-day Rescue Diver course is available individually.
Our intensive rescue training will have you master essential skills for preventing and managing diving accidents through a series of over 10 rescue exercises and 2 challenging rescue scenarios. The EFR training covers essential life-saving skills, including CPR and first aid techniques.
Your dive rescue training will be run in the local islands of Ao Nang. Diving conditions at these dive sites are mild and our group sizes are small, making it a perfect place to take your training to the next level.
Rescue Diver Course Requirements
Certification
PADI (or other equivalent) Advanced Open Water Diver certification.
or
PADI Junior Adventure Diver with Underwater Navigation Adventure dive.
The PADI rescue course requires a valid EFR certification (acquired within 24 months). If needed, we can offer the EFR course as part of the Rescue Course.
Age
12 years or older.

Day 1
- Pickup in the morning
- EFR training in Ao Nang
- Drop-off in the afternoon
Day 2
- Pickup from your hotel in the morning
- Transfer to the pier in air-conditioned minivan
- Rescue training
- Lunch onboard
- Boat returns to the pier in the afternoon
- Drop off at your hotel
Day 3
- Pickup from your hotel in the morning
- Transfer to the pier in air-conditioned minivan
- Rescue training
- Lunch onboard
- Boat returns to the pier in the afternoon
